"Upset" is probably an understatement: the state of Oklahoma has decided to charge three people with "feloniously petitioning them while not being residents of the state". You might remember Oklahoma as the state with lying DAs and bad forensic science.
Keep the image. Just add "thugs in government office" to the list.
Let's look at that "felony" part again. Petition wrong, and you lose the right to vote. Hmmm. Here's the story.
Hat tip to Instapundit.
This might be a good time to think: what restrictions do I have in my state about petitioning the government?
And for you residents of Oklahoma, would you care to investigate other states?
