It is better to do good than to avoid evil

That, in many ways, is the key insight I have to share with you. Focus on doing the right thing, focus on doing the right thing, exercize all your intelligence to do the right thing. Action on a flawed plan is better than knowing all the flaws in the plan and not executing it to avoid them.

Now, living in Las Vegas, I am in a community which lets you have the consequences of your inability to restrain your desires. If you don't restrain your desire for alcohol, promiscuity, drugs and gambling, you will face the consequences of those unruled desires. The city rewards true vision, and severely penalizes those whose desires lead them only to illusions. A severe mercy ... and a reason why there are many churches here.
