Recommended: the basic toolkit

I'm in a condo, and it's the same as when I was in a house: things break, and need fixing, and I don't have the spare cash to allocate to handymen to do it. So when a nice deal comes along on a toolkit, I take it. This is the latest Denali 115-Piece Home Repair Tool Kit nice deal out there, if you're interested: it's the one I got. It has the basics, and a bit more in screwdrivers, all solid, workmanlike tools (except the cutter, which is the usual flimsy bilge you find everywhere these days). It has drillbits, but sensibly enough, you're the one who would have to figure out what kind of drill you want (which turns out, for my purposes to be this one: Hitachi DB3DL 3.6-Volt Li-Ion Cordless Driver Drill
). Yep, this is an endorsement. I bought it. If you buy it by clicking my link, Amazon gives me a cut. If you go directly to Amazon to buy it, you pay the same price, but I don't get a cut. Up to you.
