Social Security: Truth

There's a useful roundup of articles on Social Security that you should peruse if you have a moment. You will understand more than your senator, and much more than your Congressman. That this is true, and that George Bush appears to understand this, argues poorly for their grasp of government. Think about telling them this.

I recognize that there are those, like Paul Krugman, who argue that there is no problem with Social Security. Fortunately, most people who bother to read up on the subject understand it much better than he does. The quality of his writings on economics is stellar: the quality of his popular stuff has declined to the point where most bloggers could do a better job than he does.

Meanwhile, return to that prior question: why is George W. Bush the only adult in government?
