Is Christianity a Bloody System?

Oddly enough, yes. Flowing from Exodus 12:13, the standard is established by God: “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” Listen to that. "When I see the blood, I will pass over you." No membership card. No social standing. No background check. The test is simple.

People object to the "blood-thirstiness" of Christianity because sermons about the need for the blood of God. But if you look in the Bible, you discover that the blood

-redeems (Colossians 1:14 “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”)
-cleanses (1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”)
-purges (Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”)
-atones for sin (Romans 5:11 “And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.”)
-justifies the sinner (Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”)
-the blood saves his soul (Romans 5:9-10 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.)
