Campaign Notes

It's before the '06 campaign, and early enough to plan. But here goes: people do not generally vote AGAINST candidates. You can't run a campaign saying only "He's horrible, and I'm the lesser of two evils." All you do with that slogan is depress turnout: who wants to say they voted for the lesser of two evils? Campaign based on what you hope for, what you have solved, and what you want to solve, what your vision of the country is.

I'm only going to say that once. I know the fanatics in both parties will disregard it, spending their campaign in a fruitless attempt to convince me that the other guy is the problem. I just won't fall for it. It is a waste of time.
