Current Crisis: Israel and Palestine

Begin sarcastic remarks.

I'm impressed.

An Israeli soldier is kidnapped, and, instead of simply bombing the nearest large concentrations of Palestinians, the usual response, Israel decides to act in a culturally sensitive and appropriate way: threaten massive force, kidnap many of the leaders on the other side, and refuse to negotiate until the soldier is returned, close the border to workers who usually come through to get work done.

Sounds like they have been learning a lot from the Arabs. Perhaps more than the Palestinians wanted them to learn.

End sarcastic remarks.
